We're a small, independent repair shop with 50 years of experience serving our community. We're looking for a dependable C-tech who takes pride in doing quality work and is eager to learn. You don't need to know everything on day one-we're happy to help the right person grow.
What you'll do: Perform routine maintenance and straightforward repairs, such as oil changes, tire rotations, batteries, basic brake work, suspension components, steering components, and inspections. Assist with more involved repairs as your skills develop. Follow repair procedures and safety practices. Ask questions, take feedback, and communicate clearly with other techs and service personnel. Help ensure each vehicle is treated carefully and returned in good condition.
What we're looking for: A strong work ethic and genuine care for doing the job right. Reliability, a willingness to learn, and a positive "can-do" attitude. Basic automotive knowledge or hands-on experience; school or previous shop work all count. A valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate customer vehicles. The ability to work conscientiously and perform the physical tasks required in an automotive shop.
What we offer: A supportive, experienced team that will help you build your skills. Opportunities to learn new repairs and take on more responsibility over time with increased pay. A steady, locally established workplace with a long history in the community. Starting pay varies based on experience ($19 to $23 per hour, with 40 hours per week guaranteed). Health insurance and a Simple IRA Plan after 90 days.
